| Tile Project – Alumni Lane The STHS Alumni Association was born from the Lake Tahoe Educational Foundation’s highly successful celebration of STHS’s 50th anniversary. We are committed to help fund programs and needs of the Lake Tahoe Unified School District. In 2005, the alumni council unveiled “Alumni Lane”. Alumni Lane features over 100 tiles honoring past and future alumni. The tiles were purchased by alumni and parents at a cost of $300.00 each. The tiled hallway is also home to the Wall of Honor. Alumni Lane will eventually have other facets, including a STHS Historical site featuring memorabilia from our earlier years. Alumni Lane is located between the library and the administrative offices. The income raised from the sale of the tiles was used to purchase two electronic sign boards which allow the students, parents, and staff to share timely information regarding upcoming events, testing dates etc. |
